Joshua Ricketts
Architect, BA(Hons) MArch
Josh joined the practice in 2019, bringing a diverse background in architectural design, wayfinding, and digital fabrication. He completed his MArch and Part III studies at the University of Westminster, where he remains involved as a guest critic and previously acted as an editor for Dialogues & Dreams, part of the Studio as Book series. Josh has a strong interest in ecological restoration and integrating spaces for nature into urban areas, a focus that informed his MArch Dissertation Rewilding London. This passion extends to his design work, where he actively explores sustainable redevelopment and adaptive reuse strategies to minimise demolition.
At PRS, Josh's portfolio spans a variety of projects, in particular working with Listed buildings. He has undertaken complex refurbishments of commercial properties within the City of London and contributed to significant heritage sites such as Colchester Castle, as well as high-end residential projects in London. His experience also includes Suffolk County Archives at The Hold, and specialist zoological design for our clients at London Zoo.
